Community Prenatal Collective

Midwifery-Led Education, Connection & Informed Support

The Community Prenatal Collective is a membership-based prenatal education and support program designed for pregnant people who want ongoing access to trusted midwifery wisdom, holistic care education, and meaningful community—without replacing their primary prenatal provider.

This program centers education, autonomy, and relationship, offering both online learning and optional in-person connection.

All pregnancies are welcome. All care models are respected.

Who This Clinic Is a Good Fit For

This membership is a great fit if you:

  • Want access to years of midwifery wisdom and holistic care education
  • Prefer learning in a group-supported environment
  • Are planning a hospital, birth center, home birth, or are still deciding
  • Want education and support without pressure or medical gatekeeping

This program is supplemental and does not replace primary prenatal care.

Important Information

Program Description

The Community Prenatal Collective – Plus Membership is a hybrid educational and community-based prenatal program that includes:

  • Access to online prenatal education materials and recorded lessons
  • Participation in two live online group sessions per month
  • One monthly in-person prenatal gathering that includes:
  • Group discussion and Q&A
  • Guest speakers (as available)
  • Individual, private belly checks

This program is educational and supportive in nature and is intended to supplement—not replace—primary prenatal care.

No Midwife–Client Relationship for Birth or Medical Care

I understand and agree that participation in the Plus Membership does not establish a midwife–client relationship with Tesa Kurin or Upper Peninsula Midwifery Services for:

  • Labor or birth
  • Postpartum or newborn care
  • Medical management
  • On-call or emergency services

Any individualized midwifery care would require a separate written agreement and is not implied by membership participation.

Medical Advice Disclaimer

I acknowledge that:

  • All information provided through this membership is educational only
  • Content shared during live sessions, recordings, discussions, emails, or in-person gatherings does not constitute medical advice
  • No diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or medical management is being provided
  • I am responsible for maintaining care with my primary prenatal or medical provider
  • Any health concerns, urgent symptoms, or emergencies should be directed to my primary provider or emergency services (911)

In-Person Gathering Disclaimer

I understand that:

  • In-person belly checks are limited wellness assessments only
  • These checks are observational and supportive, not diagnostic
  • Participation in any assessment is voluntary

Membership Fees & Payment Terms

  • Plus Membership fee: $75 per month
  • Membership is billed monthly
  • Payment grants access for the current billing month only

Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Memberships may be started or canceled at any time
  • No refunds are issued once payment for the current month has been processed
  • There are no prorated refunds for partial months
  • I agree to cancel my membership as soon as I know I will no longer attend, to avoid future charges

Failure to attend sessions does not constitute cancellation.

Attendance & Participation

  • Participation is voluntary
  • Attendance at live sessions or in-person gatherings is not guaranteed or required
  • Missed sessions are not eligible for refunds or credits

Group Setting & Confidentiality

I understand that:

  • This program includes group-based sessions
  • While privacy is respected, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed
  • I agree to respect the privacy of other participants and not share personal information disclosed during group discussions

Assumption of Responsibility

I acknowledge that:

  • I am responsible for my own health decisions
  • I may decline participation in any discussion or activity
  • I understand the scope and limitations of this membership

Agreement & Consent

By enrolling in the Community Prenatal Collective Plus Membership, I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to the terms outlined in this Service Agreement.
